Come with me at bathtime

Living, loving, laughing, learning

“I live in that solitude which is painful in youth, but delicious in the years of maturity.”

Albert Einstein

Come with me at bathtime

If you could read my mind

you’d hear your thoughts in mine.

Like you, I am not perfect –

the bad days come my way.

You’d see the world through my eyes

And know I’m just like you

You’d know that as you wash me

warm sun rays bathe my back,

and I’m running through those flowers

that cleanse my old grey hair.

With a peek beyond the bathtub

you’d see a young girl

living, loving, dancing – right there.
