Living, loving, laughing, learning

“Why can’t we build orphanages next to homes for the elderly? If someone were sitting in a rocker, it wouldn’t be long before a kid will be in his lap.”

Corporate & Community Responsibility

Business Corporate Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility these days is high on the agenda of the business community.  All too often the focus can be on the environment and education and the older community can be ignored. Staff are more engaged when they know they are making a difference.  So when a company goes through any transformational change, it can generate disengagement amongst the workforce.  We believe that by connecting the community in a way that makes individuals feel valued, understood and engaged, and when delivered in a fun way, benefits everyone!

It is our vision to facilitate the introduction between the care homes and the business community. This is about mutuality not charity and small amounts of help can be provided in many ways. It could be individual volunteers who are willing to give up a little of their time, perhaps a day, an afternoon or a few hours in the evening. Alternatively, companies who would like to support a small project that fits with their corporate responsibility agenda, could send a team of staff to support the home.

Businesses could donate old computer equipment and get their staff to train basic technology skills with care home staff and residents. Imagine creating the opportunity for residents to connect with their relatives by knowing how to send an email or to web cam their family in Australia!

Help to make a difference and be part of creating a community that lives, loves, laughs and learns together.
